The short answer
At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, your Hyundai gets a minor or major service according to the manufacturer’s service schedule. If your Hyundai is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty stays valid as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule, even if you do not go to the dealer.
The price depends on the model, the engine and the mileage. Call +31 10 479 00 00 with your registration number and mileage, and we will tell you in advance what the service costs. You can also visit our workshop.
If you combine a major service with the APK (MOT), the inspection is free. You drop off your Hyundai Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am, or on Saturday at 9.00 am. If extra work is needed, we call you first.

Why have your Hyundai serviced at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. We service your Hyundai to the manufacturer’s specifications, with parts and oil that suit your car.
The i10 and the Kona are two of the most common Hyundais in the Netherlands. Many Hyundais are still within the five-year manufacturer’s warranty. We service them to the Hyundai schedule and record every service, so you can show that the servicing was done on time.

What servicing does the manufacturer specify for your Hyundai?
Hyundai gives each model a service schedule with an interval in kilometres and a period in months. Whichever comes first applies. The services are listed in the Hyundai service book.
In the Netherlands, Hyundai gives a five-year manufacturer’s warranty with no mileage limit. You do not need to go to the dealer to keep this warranty, as long as the servicing follows the schedule and uses suitable parts. Please note: according to Hyundai, its lifetime roadside assistance only applies if you have the car serviced by a Hyundai dealer.
We use your registration number to look up which service your Hyundai needs and, where possible, we read the service indicator. After the service, we reset the service reminder, if our equipment can do this.

| Fluids | Check and top up if needed | Check, change the brake fluid if the schedule requires it |
| Brakes and tyres | Check for wear | Thorough check, including brake discs and brake pads |
| Filters | Check | Replace the air filter and cabin filter according to the schedule |
| Spark plugs (petrol) | Not standard | Replace at the manufacturer’s interval |
| Battery | Check | Test with a battery tester |
| Timing belt (if the engine has one) | Not standard | Check whether the belt is due for replacement at the set interval |

What do we check when servicing your Hyundai?
At every service we follow the manufacturer’s schedule. For your Hyundai, we also pay extra attention to these points:

Servicing your hybrid or electric Hyundai
The Kona Electric, Ioniq Electric, Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6 and Inster have no engine oil, spark plugs or timing belt. They still need servicing: brakes, brake fluid, tyres, suspension, cabin filter and battery cooling, according to the Hyundai schedule. On the hybrid and plug-in hybrid, such as the Tucson and the Ioniq, the petrol engine gets oil and filters according to the schedule.
Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they are trained to work safely on the high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars (in Dutch).
How much does a service for your Hyundai cost?
The price of a service differs from car to car. The model, the engine, the specified oil and the mileage determine what needs to be done and which parts are needed. That is why we do not give an amount on this page.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty on your Hyundai stay valid?
Yes. Having your car serviced at an independent garage does not void your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts and oil. This follows from the European rules for the motor industry. Extra warranties or mobility services from the brand may be linked to servicing at a dealer. We record the service in our system and, if you have a service book, in that too. You receive an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
