What is covered during an APK (MOT) inspection?

During the periodic inspection, our certified mechanic assesses your car based on the statutory RDW requirements. We perform a comprehensive check of the following:

  • Road safety: brakes, tyres (minimum tread depth), steering, suspension, lights, bodywork, windscreen/wipers, and seatbelts.
  • Environment: emissions checks appropriate to your vehicle (including particle counter tests for diesel engines).
  • Registration: VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), number plate readability, mileage accuracy, and vehicle details.

Please bring your car keys (and wheel-lock key if fitted), your registration card (kentekencard), and your previous APK report if you have it.
