The short answer

At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug, an APK for your Porsche costs € 50 for petrol, petrol hybrid and electric, and € 60 for a diesel with a factory-fitted DPF, including the particle counter test. The prices include VAT, the inspection report and registering the result with the RDW.

If you combine the APK with a major service, the APK is free. You bring your Porsche in Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am and we call you when it is ready. If a repair is needed, we tell you the cost first.

Why have your Porsche inspected at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?

We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. Our qualified inspectors check your Porsche against the legal APK requirements. You know the cost of the inspection in advance.

The APK for a Porsche is the same legal inspection as for any other car. You do not need to go to the dealer for it. With us, you get a clear price in advance. A Porsche often has wide tyres and large brakes. We pay extra attention to these.

What do we check during the APK for your Porsche?

The APK is the same legal inspection for every make: brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, lights, seat belts, emissions and the vehicle identification (VIN and number plate). On a Porsche, there are a few points we look at with extra care, or that you as the owner can keep an eye on:

  • Tyres and brakes: a Porsche often has large brakes and wide tyres that wear quickly. During the APK we check the tread, any damage and how well the brakes work.
  • E-Hybrid: many Cayenne and Panamera models in the Netherlands are E-Hybrids. On an E-Hybrid, the petrol engine gets an emissions test. The APK costs € 50. These cars mainly use the electric motor to brake, so the brake discs get little use and can rust.
  • Taycan: the Taycan is fully electric and does not get an emissions test. Because of its weight and power, the tyres wear faster.
  • Diesel with a DPF: on a Cayenne Diesel or Macan S Diesel with a factory-fitted DPF (diesel particulate filter), the particle counter test is part of the APK. A removed DPF means the car fails.
  • Classic Porsche models: on a 924, 944 or older 911, we pay extra attention to rust, brake pipes and the exhaust. Different requirements sometimes apply to a classic car, for example for emissions.

Servicing your Porsche with us

We service your Porsche according to the manufacturer’s schedule, with oil that meets the specified Porsche standard. If you have a Porsche Approved warranty, check the terms to see where the servicing must be done. You are welcome to come to us for the APK.

  • Following the Porsche schedule: we use your registration number to look up which service your car needs, and we use parts and fluids that suit your car.
  • Manufacturer’s warranty: having your car serviced by an independent garage does not automatically end your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the work follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts. We record the service in our system and you get an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
  • Free APK with a major service: if you have the APK done at the same time as a major service, you pay nothing for the inspection.
  • Price in advance: call +31 10 479 00 00 and give us your registration number. We will tell you straight away what the service costs.

Porsche E-Hybrid and Taycan

The Cayenne and Panamera E-Hybrid and the electric Taycan and Macan Electric can all come to us for the APK. An electric Porsche does not get an emissions test. On an E-Hybrid, the petrol engine does get an emissions test.

Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they can work safely on hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars (in Dutch).
