At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug, an APK for your Jeep costs € 50 for petrol, petrol hybrid and electric, and € 60 for a diesel with a factory-fitted DPF, including the particle counter test. The prices include VAT, the inspection report and registering the result with the RDW.

Why have your Jeep inspected at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. Our qualified inspectors check your Jeep against the legal APK requirements. You know in advance what the inspection costs.
Jeep is part of Stellantis, like Fiat, Peugeot and Opel. The Renegade and Compass use Fiat technology, and the Avenger uses Peugeot technology. We know that technology well. We also inspect a Wrangler or Grand Cherokee with a Dutch number plate.

What do we check during the APK for your Jeep?
The APK is the same legal inspection for every make: brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, lights, seat belts, emissions and the vehicle identification (VIN and number plate). On a Jeep, there are a few points we look at with extra care, or that you as the owner can keep an eye on:
Servicing your Jeep with us
We service your Jeep according to the manufacturer’s schedule, with oil that meets the specified standard. On the MultiAir and the 1.2 petrol engine this is extra important. You do not need to go to the dealer for servicing.

What inspectors note most often on a Jeep at the APK
In 2025, Dutch inspection stations carried out 14,661 APK inspections on Jeep passenger cars. In 53% of those inspections the report shows at least one note: a fail, a repair carried out during the inspection, or an advisory. For all makes together that figure is 51%. These are the five points noted most often on a Jeep:
- Wear in a steering or suspension ball joint (1,383 times). Read more about wheel alignment and suspension.
- Significant leak of oil or another fluid (1,011 times). Read more about a fluid leak under the car.
- Tyre pressure not at the correct value (973 times). Read more about tyre replacement.
- Dipped headlights incorrectly aimed (939 times). Read more about car repair.
- Tyre tread 1.6 to 2.5 mm (close to the legal limit) (791 times). Read more about tyre replacement.

Jeep 4xe and electric Avenger
The Renegade, Compass and Wrangler 4xe and the electric Avenger can all come to us for the APK and servicing. An electric Jeep does not get an emissions test. On a plug-in hybrid, the petrol engine does get an emissions test.
Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they can work safely on hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars.
