The short answer
At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, your Jeep gets a minor or major service according to the manufacturer’s service schedule. If your Jeep is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty stays valid as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule, even if you do not go to the dealer.
The price depends on the model, the engine and the mileage. Call +31 10 479 00 00 with your registration number and mileage, and we will tell you in advance what the service costs. You can also visit our workshop.
If you combine a major service with the APK (MOT), the inspection is free. You drop off your Jeep Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am, or on Saturday at 9.00 am. If extra work is needed, we call you first.

Why have your Jeep serviced at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. We service your Jeep to the manufacturer’s specifications, with parts and oil that suit your car.
Jeep is part of Stellantis. The Renegade and Compass share technology with Fiat, and the Avenger with Peugeot. We know that technology well. On a Wrangler or Grand Cherokee, we also look at the four-wheel drive system, the chassis and the suspension.

What servicing does the manufacturer specify for your Jeep?
Jeep sets a service interval in time and kilometres for each model and engine. The service indicator or the service book shows when the next service is due. A four-wheel drive Jeep has drivetrain parts with their own oil, as well as the engine. We change that oil according to the Jeep schedule.
On the 1.4 MultiAir, the right oil is particularly important. In this engine, a hydraulic unit controls the valves. The non-hybrid Avenger with the 1.2 petrol engine has a wet timing belt, which is a belt that runs in the engine oil. The right oil specification matters there too. We use the oil that Jeep specifies for your engine.
We use your registration number to look up which service your Jeep needs and, where possible, we read the service indicator. After the service, we reset the service reminder, if our equipment can do this.
Minor or major service for your Jeep?
Which service your car needs depends on the model, the engine, the age and the mileage. A minor and a major service usually include the following:
| Part | Minor service | Major service |
|---|---|---|
| Engine oil and oil filter | Change and replace | Change and replace |
| Fluids | Check and top up if needed | Check, change the brake fluid if the schedule requires it |
| Brakes and tyres | Check for wear | Thorough check, including brake discs and brake pads |
| Filters | Check | Replace the air filter and cabin filter according to the schedule |
| Spark plugs (petrol) | Not standard | Replace at the manufacturer’s interval |
| Battery | Check | Test with a battery tester |
| Timing belt (if the engine has one) | Not standard | Check whether the belt is due for replacement at the set interval |
| APK | Book separately | Free if you combine it with a major service |

Common Jeep models and what we check during a service
These Jeep models are the most common in the Netherlands, according to RDW open data. We can service all of these models.

What do we check when servicing your Jeep?
At every service we follow the manufacturer’s schedule. For your Jeep, we also pay extra attention to these points:

Servicing a Jeep 4xe or an electric Avenger
The Renegade 4xe, Compass 4xe and Wrangler 4xe are plug-in hybrids. The petrol engine gets oil and filters according to the schedule. The electric Avenger has no engine oil, spark plugs or timing belt. It still needs servicing, though: brakes, brake fluid, tyres, suspension and the cabin filter. Because these cars do most of their braking with the electric motor, the brake discs can rust.
Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they are trained to work safely on the high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars (in Dutch).
How much does a service for your Jeep cost?
The price of a service differs from car to car. The model, the engine, the specified oil and the mileage determine what needs to be done and which parts are needed. That is why we do not give an amount on this page.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty on your Jeep stay valid?
Yes. Having your car serviced at an independent garage does not void your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts and oil. This follows from the European rules for the motor industry. Extra warranties or mobility services from the brand may be linked to servicing at a dealer. We record the service in our system and, if you have a service book, in that too. You receive an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
