The short answer
At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, your Alfa Romeo gets a minor or major service according to the manufacturer’s service schedule. If your Alfa Romeo is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty stays valid as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule, even if you do not go to the dealer.
The price depends on the model, the engine and the mileage. Call +31 10 479 00 00 with your registration number and mileage, and we will tell you in advance what the service costs. You can also visit our workshop.
If you combine a major service with the APK (MOT), the inspection is free. You drop off your Alfa Romeo Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am, or on Saturday at 9.00 am. If extra work is needed, we call you first.

Why have your Alfa Romeo serviced at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. We service your Alfa Romeo to the manufacturer’s specifications, with parts and oil that suit your car.
The Giulietta and the MiTo are the most common Alfas in the Netherlands, and many are now ten years old or more. We know the 1.4 MultiAir engine, the TCT automatic and the JTDm diesel. We also service the Giulia and Stelvio with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

What servicing does the manufacturer specify for your Alfa Romeo?
Alfa Romeo sets a service schedule for each engine, with an interval in kilometres and a time limit in months. For the Giulietta, the schedule usually specifies fresh oil every year, even if you drive only a few kilometres. Brake fluid is usually replaced every two years.
The MultiAir engine uses engine oil to control the intake valves. That is why the right oil is particularly important for this engine. Alfa Romeo specifies oil to a Fiat standard (9.55535) that matches your engine. We use your registration number to look up which oil that is.
On the 1.4 MultiAir, the 1750 TBi and the JTDm diesel, the timing belt is part of the servicing. The interval differs by engine. We tell you in advance when the belt is due.
We use your registration number to look up which service your Alfa Romeo needs and, where possible, we read the service indicator. After the service, we reset the service reminder, if our equipment can do this.
Minor or major service for your Alfa Romeo?
Which service your car needs depends on the model, the engine, the age and the mileage. A minor and a major service usually include the following:
| Part | Minor service | Major service |
|---|---|---|
| Engine oil and oil filter | Change and replace | Change and replace |
| Fluids | Check and top up if needed | Check, change the brake fluid if the schedule requires it |
| Brakes and tyres | Check for wear | Thorough check, including brake discs and brake pads |
| Filters | Check | Replace the air filter and cabin filter according to the schedule |
| Spark plugs (petrol) | Not standard | Replace at the manufacturer’s interval |
| Battery | Check | Test with a battery tester |
| Timing belt (if the engine has one) | Not standard | Check whether the belt is due for replacement at the set interval |
| APK | Book separately | Free if you combine it with a major service |

Common Alfa Romeo models and what we check during a service
These Alfa Romeo models are the most common in the Netherlands, according to RDW open data. We can service all of these models.
| Model | Number in the Netherlands | What we check during a service |
|---|---|---|

| MiTo | 9,014 | On the 1.4 MultiAir: oil to the Fiat standard, the MultiAir unit and the timing belt. On the TCT automatic, we check for jerking when pulling away. |
| Giulia | 3,153 | Rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, and usually an eight-speed ZF automatic. Oil, brakes and tyres according to the schedule. |
| Spider (classic) | 3,129 | Classic: oil, leaks, rust on the floor and sills, and the brake lines. |
| Stelvio | 2,450 | Eight-speed ZF automatic and often four-wheel drive. Oil, brakes and tyres according to the schedule. |

What do we check when servicing your Alfa Romeo?
At every service we follow the manufacturer’s schedule. For your Alfa Romeo, we also pay extra attention to these points:
Also read about replacing the timing belt (in Dutch) and flushing a ZF automatic gearbox, like the one in the Giulia and Stelvio.
Servicing your hybrid or electric Alfa Romeo
The Tonale comes as a hybrid and as a plug-in hybrid. The petrol engine gets oil and filters according to the Alfa Romeo schedule. The electric Junior has no engine oil, spark plugs or timing belt. It still needs servicing, though: brakes, brake fluid, tyres, suspension and the cabin filter.
Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they are trained to work safely on the high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars (in Dutch).
How much does a service for your Alfa Romeo cost?
The price of a service differs from car to car. The model, the engine, the specified oil and the mileage determine what needs to be done and which parts are needed. That is why we do not give an amount on this page.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty on your Alfa Romeo stay valid?
Yes. Having your car serviced at an independent garage does not void your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts and oil. This follows from the European rules for the motor industry. Extra warranties or mobility services from the brand may be linked to servicing at a dealer. We record the service in our system and, if you have a service book, in that too. You receive an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
