The short answer
At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, your Jaguar gets a minor or major service according to the manufacturer’s service schedule. If your Jaguar is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty stays valid as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule, even if you do not go to the dealer.
The price depends on the model, the engine and the mileage. Call +31 10 479 00 00 with your registration number and mileage, and we will tell you in advance what the service costs. You can also visit our workshop.
If you combine a major service with the APK (MOT), the inspection is free. You drop off your Jaguar Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am, or on Saturday at 9.00 am. If extra work is needed, we call you first.

Why have your Jaguar serviced at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. We service your Jaguar to the manufacturer’s specification, with parts and oil that suit your car.
Jaguar belongs to the same group as Land Rover and uses many of the same engines, such as the Ingenium engines. We know the ZF automatic gearbox, the air suspension on the XJ and the technology in the electric I-Pace. We also look after classic Jaguars.

What servicing does the manufacturer specify for your Jaguar?
Jaguar uses a service schedule that is set for each model and engine. A service is due after a set number of kilometres or a set period, whichever comes first. A modern Jaguar shows on the dashboard when the next service is due.
For newer Jaguars, Jaguar specifies an oil with its own JLR standard for each engine. On the Ingenium engines the right oil matters even more. We use the oil that Jaguar specifies for your engine.
We use your registration number to look up which service your Jaguar needs and, where possible, we read the service indicator. After the service, we reset the service reminder, if our equipment can do this.
Minor or major service for your Jaguar?
Which service your car needs depends on the model, the engine, the age and the mileage. A minor and a major service usually include the following:
| Part | Minor service | Major service |
|---|---|---|
| Engine oil and oil filter | Change and replace | Change and replace |
| Fluids | Check and top up if needed | Check, change the brake fluid if the schedule requires it |
| Brakes and tyres | Check for wear | Thorough check, including brake discs and brake pads |
| Filters | Check | Replace the air filter and cabin filter according to the schedule |
| Spark plugs (petrol) | Not standard | Replace at the manufacturer’s interval |
| Battery | Check | Test with a battery tester |
| Timing belt (if the engine has one) | Not standard | Check whether the belt is due for replacement at the set interval |
| APK | Book separately | Free if you combine it with a major service |

| Model | Number in the Netherlands | What we check during a service |

What do we check when servicing your Jaguar?
At every service we follow the manufacturer’s schedule. For your Jaguar, we also pay extra attention to these points:
Read more about how often to change the oil (in Dutch) and reading fault codes (in Dutch).
Servicing an electric Jaguar I-Pace
The electric I-Pace has no engine oil, spark plugs or timing belt. There is still maintenance to do: brakes, brake fluid, tyres, suspension, the cabin filter and the battery cooling, all to the Jaguar schedule. Because the I-Pace does most of its braking with the electric motor, the brake discs can rust. We clean and check the brakes.
Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they are trained to work safely on the high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars (in Dutch).
How much does a service for your Jaguar cost?
The price of a service differs from car to car. The model, the engine, the specified oil and the mileage determine what needs to be done and which parts are needed. That is why we do not give an amount on this page.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty on your Jaguar stay valid?
Yes. Having your car serviced at an independent garage does not void your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts and oil. This follows from the European rules for the motor industry. Extra warranties or mobility services from the brand may be linked to servicing at a dealer. We record the service in our system and, if you have a service book, in that too. You receive an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
