The short answer
At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, your Daihatsu gets a minor or major service according to the manufacturer’s service schedule. If your Daihatsu is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty stays valid as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule, even if you do not go to the dealer.
The price depends on the model, the engine and the mileage. Call +31 10 479 00 00 with your registration number and mileage, and we will tell you in advance what the service costs. You can also visit our workshop.
If you combine a major service with the APK (MOT), the inspection is free. You drop off your Daihatsu Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am, or on Saturday at 9.00 am. If extra work is needed, we call you first.

Why have your Daihatsu serviced at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. We service your Daihatsu to the manufacturer’s specification, with parts and oil that suit your car.
According to Auto Bild, Daihatsu stopped selling new cars in Europe in January 2013. Even so, thousands of Cuores and Sirions are still on the road in the Netherlands. They are economical cars that last a long time if they are well maintained. We help you with that.

What servicing does the manufacturer specify for your Daihatsu?
Daihatsu sets a service schedule for each model, with an interval in kilometres and a period in months. Many Daihatsus cover few kilometres a year. In that case the period in months matters most. So have the oil changed on time, even if you have not reached the mileage.
Almost all Daihatsus are now well over ten years old. That is why we take extra care at every service to check for rust and to look at the brake lines, the exhaust and any leaks. We tell you what we find first. We only carry out repairs once you agree.
We use your registration number to look up which service your Daihatsu needs and, where possible, we read the service indicator. After the service, we reset the service reminder, if our equipment can do this.

| Fluids | Check and top up if needed | Check, change the brake fluid if the schedule requires it |
| Brakes and tyres | Check for wear | Thorough check, including brake discs and brake pads |
| Filters | Check | Replace the air filter and cabin filter according to the schedule |
| Spark plugs (petrol) | Not standard | Replace at the manufacturer’s interval |
| Battery | Check | Test with a battery tester |
| Timing belt (if the engine has one) | Not standard | Check whether the belt is due for replacement at the set interval |

What do we check when servicing your Daihatsu?
At every service we follow the manufacturer’s schedule. For your Daihatsu, we also pay extra attention to these points:
Also read about how often to have your oil changed (in Dutch) and testing the battery (in Dutch).
How much does a service for your Daihatsu cost?
The price of a service differs from car to car. The model, the engine, the specified oil and the mileage determine what needs to be done and which parts are needed. That is why we do not give an amount on this page.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty on your Daihatsu stay valid?
Yes. Having your car serviced at an independent garage does not void your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts and oil. This follows from the European rules for the motor industry. Extra warranties or mobility services from the brand may be linked to servicing at a dealer. We record the service in our system and, if you have a service book, in that too. You receive an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
