The short answer
At Autobedrijf Willemsbrug in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, your Audi gets a minor or major service according to the manufacturer’s service schedule. If your Audi is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty stays valid as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule, even if you do not go to the dealer.
The price depends on the model, the engine and the mileage. Call +31 10 479 00 00 with your registration number and mileage, and we will tell you in advance what the service costs. You can also visit our workshop.
If you combine a major service with the APK (MOT), the inspection is free. You drop off your Audi Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 8.30 am, or on Saturday at 9.00 am. If extra work is needed, we call you first.

Why have your Audi serviced at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug?
We are an independent garage for all makes and an RDW-approved APK station. We service your Audi to the manufacturer’s specification, with parts and oil that suit your car.
Audi is part of the Volkswagen Group. We know this technology well: TFSI and TDI engines, the S tronic automatic gearbox, quattro all-wheel drive and the electronic parking brake. On older TFSI engines, we also check the oil consumption during the service.

What servicing does the manufacturer specify for your Audi?
Audi uses two types of servicing. With flexible servicing (LongLife), the car works out for itself when the next service is due. It looks at things such as mileage, fuel consumption and oil temperature. If you make a lot of short trips, the reminder comes sooner. With fixed servicing, the car gets a service every year or after a set number of kilometres.
Flexible servicing needs oil with a Volkswagen LongLife standard, such as VW 504 00 for petrol and VW 507 00 for diesel. For newer engines, Audi sometimes specifies a different standard. We use the oil that matches your engine and your service plan. You can see which plan your Audi has in the service book or the digital service record.
We use your registration number to look up which service your Audi needs and, where possible, we read the service indicator. After the service, we reset the service reminder, if our equipment can do this.
Minor or major service for your Audi?
Which service your car needs depends on the model, the engine, the age and the mileage. A minor and a major service usually include the following:
| Part | Minor service | Major service |
|---|---|---|
| Engine oil and oil filter | Change and replace | Change and replace |
| Fluids | Check and top up if needed | Check, change the brake fluid if the schedule requires it |
| Brakes and tyres | Check for wear | Thorough check, including brake discs and brake pads |
| Filters | Check | Replace the air filter and cabin filter according to the schedule |
| Spark plugs (petrol) | Not standard | Replace at the manufacturer’s interval |
| Battery | Check | Test with a battery tester |
| Timing belt (if the engine has one) | Not standard | Check whether the belt is due for replacement at the set interval |
| APK | Book separately | Free if you combine it with a major service |

Common Audi models and what we check during a service
These Audi models are the most common in the Netherlands, according to RDW open data. We can service all of these models.
| Model | Number in the Netherlands | What we check during a service |
|---|---|---|
| A3 | 90,913 | Oil to VW specification. On the 1.8 TFSI from about 2008 to 2013, the oil consumption. On the S tronic, we pay attention to how it shifts. |
| A4 | 49,417 | On the 1.8 and 2.0 TFSI from about 2008 to 2013, the oil consumption. On an older A4 with Multitronic, the continuously variable automatic gearbox. |
| A1 | 43,479 | Small Audi with Polo technology. Oil to VW specification, brakes and tyres. On the S tronic, we pay attention to the gear changes. |
| A6 | 25,808 | Oil to VW specification. On newer TDI engines, the AdBlue system and the diesel particulate filter. On an older A6 with Multitronic, the continuously variable automatic gearbox. |
| Q5 | 18,814 | On the 2.0 TFSI from about 2008 to 2013, the oil consumption. On the TFSI e, also the brakes, which get little use. |

What do we check when servicing your Audi?
At every service we follow the manufacturer’s schedule. For your Audi, we also pay extra attention to these points:

Servicing an Audi TFSI e or e-tron
An electric Q4 e-tron or e-tron has no engine oil, spark plugs or timing belt. It still needs servicing: brakes, brake fluid, tyres, suspension, cabin filter and battery cooling according to the Audi schedule. Because these cars mainly brake using the electric motor, the brake discs can rust. On a plug-in hybrid, such as the A3 TFSI e or Q5 TFSI e, the petrol engine gets oil and filters according to the schedule.
Our mechanics hold a GMTO certificate (the Dutch qualification for working on high-voltage systems). This means they are trained to work safely on the high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric cars. Read more about servicing hybrid and electric cars (in Dutch).
How much does a service for your Audi cost?
The price of a service differs from car to car. The model, the engine, the specified oil and the mileage determine what needs to be done and which parts are needed. That is why we do not give an amount on this page.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty on your Audi stay valid?
Yes. Having your car serviced at an independent garage does not void your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule and uses suitable parts and oil. This follows from the European rules for the motor industry. Extra warranties or mobility services from the brand may be linked to servicing at a dealer. We record the service in our system and, if you have a service book, in that too. You receive an invoice listing all the work. Keep it in a safe place.
