The short answer
Yes. Autobedrijf Willemsbrug at Boterdiep 11 in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde is open almost every Saturday from 9.00 to 15.00 for servicing, repairs, tyres, air con and diagnosis on cars, vans and motorhomes of all makes. On Saturday you pay the same rate as during the week, with no weekend surcharge, and you hear the cost of the work in advance. An APK (MOT) is not possible on Saturday. We schedule it Monday to Friday.

Opening hours of Autobedrijf Willemsbrug
Our workshop is open six days a week, Monday to Saturday. On Saturday it is not only the front desk that is open: our mechanics also work on your car.

We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. In 2026, Boxing Day falls on Saturday 26 December. Does another public holiday fall on a Saturday? Then we may also be closed. If in doubt, call +31 10 479 00 00.
No weekend surcharge: you pay the same as during the week
On Saturday you pay the same rate at Autobedrijf Willemsbrug as during the week. There is no weekend surcharge and no urgent rate. You get a quote in advance for the agreed work, including VAT. If more work is needed, we discuss it with you first.
We have been open on Saturday for years. People who work during the week often cannot do without their car. And taking time off for a service is not convenient for everyone. As far as we are concerned, that should not come with a surcharge.
What you can have done on Saturday
A lot of work can also be done on Saturday. The table shows what we do then. For some jobs, it says roughly how long it takes and whether you can wait.

| Air con service | Yes. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour. You can wait for it. An air con service costs from € 120 for cars up to about 2017 (R134a). For newer cars (R1234yf) it is from € 180. |
| Car diagnostics (in Dutch) | Yes. Is there a warning light on your dashboard? We read the fault codes and look for the cause. Then you hear what is needed and what it costs. |
| Battery testing or replacement | Yes. We measure how strong the battery still is and check the alternator if needed. |

Can the APK also be done on Saturday?
No. An APK inspection is not possible on Saturday. We are an RDW-approved APK station. After every inspection we register the result with the RDW. Registering is only possible Monday to Friday. That is an RDW rule, not our choice. You can still arrange your APK easily:
How much does the APK cost?
- Petrol car, petrol hybrid or electric car: € 50
- Diesel or diesel hybrid with a factory-fitted DPF (diesel particulate filter): € 60, including the compulsory particle counter test
- Van up to 3,500 kg: € 125
- Motorhome: € 100 to € 125, depending on the type and weight

How a Saturday appointment works
You book a Saturday appointment by phone. You can reach us during our opening hours. Online booking is only possible for the APK, which we do Monday to Friday.

Call +31 10 479 00 00. Have your registration number ready and tell us what needs doing. You will hear when we can help you. Ideally, drop off your car at 9.00 am. That gives the best chance that your car is ready the same day.
Get a quote
You get a quote in advance for the agreed work, including VAT. We only do extra work once you agree.
Drop off your car
Bring your car at the agreed time. Does your car have locking wheel nuts? Then bring the key with you. Also bring your service book if you have one.
Wait or collect
For a short job, you can wait in our reception area with a cup of coffee. For a bigger job, you can use a free loan bike, as long as one is available. We call you as soon as your car is ready.

We work on all makes. Call ahead with your registration number, so we know which vehicle you are bringing.
To the garage on Saturday in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde
You will find us at Boterdiep 11 (3077 AW) in Rotterdam-IJsselmonde, close to Stadion Feijenoord (De Kuip) and exit 24 Rotterdam-Feijenoord on the A16. The A15 is five minutes’ drive away. You can park for free in front of the garage if there is space. The Stadion Feijenoord tram stop (line 3) is nearby.
There are several other car businesses on Boterdiep. So look for the name Autobedrijf Willemsbrug B.V. on the building. On match days, expect it to be busy around De Kuip.
